psu.psu is the format supported by uLaunchELF, to convert to this format you must select the X-port 2(.xps) format to save as in the last step.
#HOW TO TRANSFER PS2 GAME SAVES TO PCSX2 1080P#
PCSX2 is still a good option for everyone who wants to play the classic version since you can stil use a higher screen resolution (such as 1080p or 4k) and widescreen hack. Now all you need do is save in your desired format. I prefer the HD Remaster just because the textures have a higher resolution and they also added nice shader effects for water etc. (well, tbh I bought Grandia 2 anniversary, though [which I already had for PS2 and PC haha) but they didn't mess up the faces there ^^ - which is the main negative aspect for FFX remaster) Tips: Masuk pada halaman awal, lalu pilih kategori konsol ps2, pilih judul game ps2 yg mau dicari, kemudian pilih option save file. But if I already have it in real fine resolution on pcsx2 why would I want to buy/play the remaster version?
#HOW TO TRANSFER PS2 GAME SAVES TO PCSX2 SOFTWARE#
It's not a rant, for people never played FFX or just want to have it on PC w/o any emu software it's surely a nice deal. The only real positive change would be the native resolution FMVs (where I have to press F9 each time in pcsx2 else it will screw up when the game is set to 3x or 4x resolution). That's nothing one would not be able to do for the pcsx2 version, too. I cant say if the resulting files are compatible with PCSX2 though. Then, from the PS3 you can copy the saves to a USB drive which should be accessible from a PC. I mean playing the game 3x while the music stays 1x is as far as I have read not possible with the remaster, is it?Īnd the remaster textures look for me personally a bit too colorful and the contrast is a bit sharper. If you have access to a PS3 and a PS2-memcard-to-USB converter, you can copy the PS2 saves to the PS3. In order to complete this tutorial, the PS2 needs to be running FMCB to retrieve the save with uLaunchELF.Also, a USB storage device is used to copy the save from the PS2, to the PC, to the PS3. Why would I want to play this remaster version, which has different OST, changed faces(ffs!) and less features than the emulator? The purpose of this tutorial is to convert saves from a physical PS2 Memory Card to a virtual PS3 Internal Memory Card, using a Windows PC (without a PS3 Memory Card Adapter). Just a quick question as someone who played FFX via PCSX2, too:
